Paytm is the most popular platform that offers seamless and secure transfer of funds through UPI. To create your UPI account on Paytm, all you need to do is link your bank account and generate a unique UPI PIN using your Debit card.

Unlink and remove Bank Account from Paytm
Step 1: Open the Paytm mobile application and login to your account. On the home screen, tap and open the profile section by tapping on the profile picture.
Step 2: Once you open the Profile section, tap on the “UPI & Payment Settings” option where you can manage your UPI account.
Step 3: In the UPI & Payment settings, you can view all your linked bank accounts. To unlink your Bank account, simply tap on the Bank account.
Step 4: Next screen you can view your linked bank account details. To unlink/remove from Paytm, Tap on the three vertical dots located on the top right side, as shown in the screenshot below.
Step 5: Now tap on the “Remove Account” option to unlink the selected bank account.
Step 6: Next screen tap on the “Yes” button to confirm your request.
Step 7: Done! your bank account has been removed /unlinked successfully from Paytm. Now you won’t be able to send or receive money from this bank account on Paytm UPI.

How To Disable Paytm UPI Account
You can disable your Paytm UPI account and deactivate all your linked bank accounts and UPI ID (VPA). Once you disable your UPI on Paytm, you can not use your UPI ID and QR code to receive money and you won’t be able to transfer money through Paytm UPI to any bank account.
Don’t worry you can reactivate your disabled Paytm UPI account in just a single click and all your linked bank accounts will be restored instantly, you don’t need to create a UPI ID and UPI PIN again.
To disable or deactivate your Paytm UPI account:
Step 1: Go to the “UPI & Payment Settings” option.
Step 2: On the next screen, tap on the three vertical dots on the top right side to open options as you can see in the below screenshot.
Step 3: You can see the “Delete UPI Account” option, tap to delete your UPI account.
Step 4: Next screen tap on “yes” to confirm disable UPI account.
Step 5: Done! your Paytm UPI account has been disabled/deactivated successfully. Now you won’t be able to send and receive money on Paytm. You can reactivate your Paytm UPI account again, just tap on the “Reactivate UPI Account” option in UPI & payment settings.
