SBI customers can easily enable/disable UPI transactions for their SBI accounts using net banking and mobile banking.
If you don’t wish to use UPI anymore then you can disable it online and block all transactions through UPI, no matter which UPI application you are using, all transactions will be blocked.
After completing disable UPI transactions for your SBI account, you can not send, receive or make payment online/offline using UPI. For security reasons, if you wish to block UPI transactions for your SBI account then follow these steps and disable UPI for your account.

Disable UPI for SBI Account Online
SBI customers can easily enable/disable UPI for accounts online using Mobile banking and Internet banking. You just need to login to mobile banking or net banking and select enable/disable options.
Enable/disable UPI for SBI Account using Mobile Banking
Login to SBI Mobile Banking application YONO lite and open UPI tab.
Now tap and open enable/disable UPI option.
Next screen select your account number and turn OFF (Enable UPI Account) as you can see below screenshot. After turning off this option, your UPI transactions will be disabled and you can not use UPI for this account.
If you wish to enable UPI again for your SBI account then just turn ON (Enable UPI account) option.
Enable/Disable UPI using net banking
You can also login to SBI Internet Banking and enable/disable UPI for your SBI account.
Login to SBI Internet Banking and open My Profile section. Here you will find Enable/Disable Accounts for UPI option, just click on it.
Next screen select your account number and select enable/disable option.
So by following these simple steps, SBI customers can enable/disable UPI for their SBI account anytime. You can disable UPI for your account if you don’t wish to use UPI anymore and whenever you need to do the transaction through UPI, simply enable UPI anytime.
